Stainless Steel

Care

With proper care, our ecological bamboo toothbrush will last just as long as a conventional plastic toothbrush. The Dental Association recommends replacing your toothbrush every 3 months, or when the bristles have frayed.

Re-Usable

The different parts of the toothbrush can be disassembled for proper disposal. The bristles are not biodegradable. Using pliers, it is easy to remove the bristles from the head. Doing so will also remove a small metal staple that is used to clamp the bristles to the handle. This metal staple is normal in toothbrush manufacturing and is also present in all plastic toothbrushes.

Re-Cyclable

The bare toothbrush handle can be disposed of in a composting bin and will safely return to the soil within 6 months. Or you can compost it in your own home. However, the handle is a perfectly good piece of high-quality bamboo – feel free to reuse it!

Most companies make their money because of the throw away lifestyle we have become so accustomed to, however at #fcukplastics we have compared the amount of plastic waste that one cup reduces.

A woman uses thousands of pads and tampons in her lifetime, that comes to around 600 kg of non-recyclable waste. No more flushing tampons down the drain or tossing plastic wrappers and pads in the trash.
